RETURNS AND REFUND POLICY
Your Consumer Rights
As a customer in Ireland/EU, you have consumer protection rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).
1. 14-Day Cooling Off Period
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days.. This period starts from the day you (or a third party you nominate) receives the goods.
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision by email to info@babythings.ie
2. Returning Items
- You have 14 days from the date you notify us of cancellation to return the items
- Items must be returned in original condition with tags attached
- Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in resaleable condition
- Please return items in their original packaging where possible
- You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong item
3. Items That Cannot Be Returned
For health and hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned once opened or unsealed:
- Underwear and bodysuits (if packaging seal is broken)
- Bibs and feeding items (if opened)
- Bath products and toiletries (if opened)
- Personalized or custom-made items
Faulty items in these categories can still be returned - see Section 6 below.
4. Refunds
- We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned goods
- Refunds will be processed using the same payment method you used for purchase
- We will refund the price of the goods plus standard delivery charges
5. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is:
- Faulty or defective
- Damaged in transit
- Not what you ordered
Please contact us immediately at info@babythings.ie with:
- Your order number
- Photos of the item if possible
- Description of the issue
We will:
- Provide a full refund including all delivery costs
or
- Send a replacement if you prefer (subject to availability)
6. Your Legal Rights
Under the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980 and EU consumer law, goods must be:
- As described
- Of satisfactory quality
- Fit for purpose
7. Late or Missing Deliveries
If your order hasn't arrived within the estimated delivery time:
- Contact us and we'll investigate with our courier
- If the item is lost, we'll send a replacement or provide a full refund
