1. General Information These Terms and Conditions govern your use of babythings.ie By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Our business is registered in Ireland and operates in compliance with Irish and EU law.

 

2. Consumer Rights (EU/Ireland) As an EU consumer, you have specific rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU):

  • Right to Cancel: You may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving goods.
  • Return Period: You have 14 days from cancellation to return items
  • Refund Timeline: We will refund you within 14 days of receiving returned goods
  • Exceptions: Personalized items, unsealed hygiene products, and perishable goods cannot be returned for hygiene/safety reasons

3. Product Information & Safety All baby products comply with EU safety standards including EN71 (toy safety) and relevant CE marking requirements. Product descriptions are accurate to the best of our knowledge.

 

4. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are in EUR and include Irish VAT at the applicable rate (currently 23% standard rate, 0% for children's clothing and footwear)
  • We reserve the right to correct pricing errors
  • Payment is processed securely through our payment providers.

5. Delivery

  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
  • Risk passes to you upon delivery
  • We deliver within Ireland, EU and Worldwide.

6. Liability Our liability is limited as permitted by Irish law. We are not liable for indirect losses.

 

7. Data Protection We process personal data in accordance with GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. See our Privacy Policy for details.

 

8. Governing Law These terms are governed by Irish law. EU consumers may bring proceedings in their country of residence.
